About me
I started ballet at four, and by eighteen was already working as a professional dancer. It was a beautiful but strict career that also brought many injuries and an eating disorder, both from not respecting my body’s limits and performing at any cost. That’s when I understood, with the help of professionals, that in order to keep dancing and move forward with my life, I needed a body that was strong, and that I could respect and listen to, and that my mental health mattered just as much.
For this reason, along with all the body knowledge and awareness I got from dance, I decided to study different disciplines I love and keep exploring: Pilates, functional training, strength training, yoga and fitness for pregnancy, among others.
That learning touched another part of my story: as a woman, Latina, queer, and still a dancer, living in Europe, I know closely the pressure of an ideal stereotype society imposes. That’s why I decided to create something different from commercial fitness: a space where we can be ourselves — safe, accessible, for all cultures, all genders, all bodies. For me, this was never about aesthetics. It’s about health.
